Emergency contraception

Emergency contraception includes some methods. However, generally, emergency contraceptive pill(ECP), Levonorgestrel is widely used.
Levonorgestrel is a drug that helps prevent pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or after failure of another birth control method.
Proper use
You need to take ECP within 72 hours of sexual intercourse, which can prevent pregnancy with about 80% of probability.
You’d better off taking it as soon as possible. So you don’t have to make an appointment in advance.
If you vomit within 2 hours after taking this medication, contact us right away.
No serious side effects can occur.

You could be pregnant if you have a new sexual intercourse after taking it. In that case, don’t hesitate to contact us.
If the timing of sexual intercourse is over 72 hours, ECP might not take effect well. In that case, we can advice you to take other measures.
ECP will not protect you from getting HIV/AIDS or other sexually transmitted infections, such as syphilis, chlamydia, Herpes. If this is a concern for you, talk with us.
